Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile apps and games (each an "App", together the "Apps") published on Google Play by Square League and on the Apple App Store by Hua Phong (together, "we", "us"). It explains what information the Apps handle and why. Details that apply to only one App are listed in section 4. Contact: contact.squareleague@gmail.com.
In short
- Our Apps have no account system. We do not ask for your name, email, contacts or location.
- Your progress, settings and anything you create are stored on your device only. We do not run servers that receive them.
- Our Apps may show ads through Google AdMob and may sell subscriptions or in-app purchases through Google Play / Apple App Store using Unity In-App Purchasing. These third parties collect some device data as described below.
- Our Apps are intended for users aged 13 and over.
1. Information stored on your device
Each App creates and keeps the following data locally on your device. It is not sent to us.
- Progress and settings: game progress, levels, scores, preferences, unlocked items, in-app currencies or tickets, and ad-free timers.
- Content you create: for example maps, levels, images or videos made with an App. Content is saved to your device's gallery or files only when you choose to save it.
- Sharing: share buttons open your operating system's share sheet. What you share, and with whom, is handled by the app you choose.
An App asks for a device permission (such as saving to your gallery) only when you use the feature that needs it, and uses it only for that feature. Uninstalling an App deletes its locally stored data. Files you have already saved to your gallery remain until you delete them.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any content you create. We do not operate our own analytics or crash-reporting servers.
3. Third-party services
Not every App uses every service below. Each App's store listing (Google Play Data safety section and App Store privacy label) shows what that App collects. If we add a third-party service that collects data and is not described here, we will update this policy before that App version is released.
3.1 Google AdMob (advertising)
Apps with ads display ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC), such as banner, app-open, interstitial and rewarded ads. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects:
- IP address (used to estimate your approximate location);
- device identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA (subject to your tracking choices) and the App Set ID;
- ad interactions such as ad views, taps and video completions;
- diagnostic information such as app launch time and performance data.
This data is shared with Google and, depending on your consent, with Google's advertising partners. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Your choices. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or in a US state with applicable privacy laws, the App shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before ads are personalised. You can change your choice at any time from the Privacy Settings option in the App's menu or settings (shown where required). You can also reset or delete your advertising ID and limit ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings › Google › Ads; iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking / Apple Advertising).
3.2 Unity In-App Purchasing (subscriptions and purchases)
Apps that offer subscriptions or in-app purchases handle them with the Unity IAP SDK (Unity Technologies). According to Unity's disclosure, the SDK collects purchase history, device identifiers, approximate location, crash logs and diagnostic data, and transient account identifiers, for the purpose of delivering purchases and for analytics. This data is not shared with other parties by Unity. See Unity Privacy Policy and Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
3.3 Google Play and Apple App Store (payments)
Payments are processed entirely by Google Play Billing or Apple's App Store. We never receive your card number or billing address. The store provides us only with an anonymous purchase token so the App can unlock what you bought. Refunds and payment data are governed by Google's and Apple's privacy policies.
4. App-specific details
Square League
- Recorded videos: when you tap Rec, the App renders the match to a video file and saves it to your device's gallery (Android:
Movies/Square League; iOS: the Photos library). On Android 8 and 9 the App requests storage permission for this purpose only. On iOS the App requests "add to Photos" permission only; it cannot read your existing photos or videos. - Maps: the maps you build and their thumbnails are stored on your device only.
- Ads and VIP: the App shows app-open, interstitial and rewarded ads. VIP subscribers do not see app-open or interstitial ads.
5. Summary of data collected by the Apps

Data is collected only by the services an App actually uses. All of this data is encrypted in transit (TLS).
6. Children
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13 and are listed for ages 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will help remove it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or US state privacy laws such as the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not store personal data on our own systems, these rights are mostly exercised through:
- the Privacy Settings form inside the App (ad consent);
- your device's advertising settings (reset or delete the advertising ID);
- Google (My Ad Center) and Unity's privacy tools linked above;
- deleting the App, which removes all locally stored data.
You can also email us at contact.squareleague@gmail.com and we will assist you within 30 days. We do not sell personal information.
8. Data retention and security
We retain nothing on our servers because we have none. Third parties retain data according to their own policies. Data sent by the SDKs is transmitted over encrypted connections. Third parties may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States, under their respective legal safeguards.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our Apps or applicable laws change. The effective date at the top will be updated, and material changes will be noted in the affected Apps' store listings or inside the Apps.
